Wow Anon88!
(thanks for the response- I was very curious.)
The Universities are worse than I thought. Amazing that they are able indoctrinate and squash decent without everyone knowing. (But I think that is changing fast
Maybe you should just consider yourself a spy in the enemy camp. Go along with their high minded brave new world until you do get tenure. Go on an anti-bush rant at some important meeting. I am not kidding. They are discriminating against you for political descent and you are in the enemy camp. They have no right to discriminate because of you beliefs. You are otherwise qualified!
You are infiltrating the enemy within. Don't think of it as lying - think of it as spying. Let them "convert" you.

I think it would be best to stay quiet, Anon88. I think you can do a lot more good for the students inside the system than outside. Stay strong.

Here is something sent to me by my friend, Peter Anderson. He was hoping one of the bloggers here could look this up and see if it was true. I spent a little time on it but have to get to other projects I'm behind on. Here it is:

From a fellow subscriber:

If you haven't checked the new federal guidelines on growing spinach commercially

please do. My brother (who maintains a victory garden) has discovered the federal

guidelines for commercial farming now require fencing and armed guards - I suspect

the government believes that there is going to be a lot of hungry people in the future.

More from above subscriber:

More information on the Agri-business sector The information on Spinach I referred to

was from The American Vegetable Grower, February 2008 issue, page 44 in the article

entitled; Food Safety. This now a planned implementation and will be done once all the

states are ready. All domesticated livestock must now be tagged, regardless of

whether or not it is legal. In Michigan, for example, the state and federal governments

are systematically eliminating every farm with livestock that are not tagged with an RFID.

The process is expensive and only the large corporate congressionally owned agricompanies

can afford the procedure. Last week a large dairy farm several miles from

my home was euthanisized -about a 1000 head of cattle, and the owner who had court

documents prohibiting the act was thrown in jail while his herd was put down by state

law enforcement. A couple of weeks before that it was a gentleman who raised other

peoples animals organically for private use in a local city. His was estimated at 100

head of cattle. This is a deliberate and illegal destruction of small agri-businesses who

cannot comply with the requirement. By the time the crop measures are implemented

the government will control all food production in the US directly. The livestock issue is

happening across the nation as I write and is not in the news. It is being published in

local agri-pubs and is expected to peak at a level where the governments

(federal/state) are able to implement individual animal control registration of

residences with 1 or more livestock ... i.e. a chicken or rabbit, etc. All the small organic

businesses in the meanwhile are being systematically wiped out if they don't

cooperate. Acres USA is full of horror stories. I can only hope that these initiatives selfdestruct

financially before this is complete. Your financial information lends credence

to this, as well as reports about the bird-flu epidemic botch by the WHO. Acres USA

printed a study on the bird-flu epidemic. Their researchers discovered a selenium

deficiency in all the collected bird carcasses they tested at locals where a bird-flu

epidemic occurred. They then ran a test study with a test group that received selenium

supplementation and a control group that was selenium deficient. Both groups were

exposed to massive quantities of the bird-flu virus for the period of the test. Only the

control group contracted bird-flu. Also, home gardening is expected to come on the

chopping block. At present only Minneapolis has a law forbidding gardening in the city

for human consumption that I am aware of. Supposedly because of high lead content

in the soil - not a legitimate reason for such action or so I am told. It seems to me what
is happening is very alarming.

The climate is way too hostile right now but when things continue to break down, I expect that to change. Things were a lot better for a year or two after 9/11. Conservatism was popular then and I think it enraged liberals to be shoved into the background so when they gained the upper hand it was with a vengeance.

I do have a couple of friends who feel as I do but they are tenured and older. Even they keep their mouths shut most of the time. No one who does not have tenure would show their hand while they are still hoping for tenure.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

It is a hard situation. It would be nice if our good teacher did have a support group. There should be a national chapter of the NEA which could give voice to morality and Christian values. One voice, one mind in such a critically important organization is a great danger.

Cave,

I saw yesterday that you asked me about tenure. I'm not tenured yet even though my student reviews are excellent. It should have happened a couple of years ago. I'm afraid keeping my mouth shut hasn't been enough. I'm also expected to join in with the liberal view and I just can't bring myself to do that. Dishonesty is different than silence. My wife and I are concerned about this but I'm trying to just plug along. To be honest, I fear that jealousy could be part of it also. Even though so many students have been brainwashed, they still recognize truth when they hear it taught.

Amazing that the Russians aren't even pretending Putin will be out of power.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian voters will hand Dmitry Medvedev victory in a one-sided presidential election on Sunday, a choice that should ensure his mentor President Vladimir Putin stays on as the power behind the throne.

The Kremlin's opponents say voters have been denied a real choice because the biggest television stations slant their coverage in Medvedev's favor while election officials have barred some opposition challengers from running.

But the country is enjoying its longest economic boom in a generation -- fuelled by record prices for oil and gas -- and most people see the double act of Putin and Medvedev as the best hope of prolonging their new-found prosperity.

"If I am entrusted with leading the state I will simply be obliged to continue the policies ... of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin," Medvedev said. "I hope if we continue to work in this format, as a pair, it will benefit our country."

Putin is constitutionally barred from running for a third consecutive term. He endorsed Medvedev to replace him and has said he is ready to serve next as prime minister.

Rush just said that the high ups in both parties want open borders and that they will never let this go. That's why Mitt didn't have a chance. They want the North American Union and they won't take a chance of letting anyone run in the general election if they aren't behind it.

Iran 'number one world power': Ahmadinejad

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared on Thursday that Iran was the world's "number one" power, as he launched a bitter new assault on domestic critics he accused of siding with the enemy.

"Everybody has understood that Iran is the number one power in the world," Ahmadinejad said in a speech to families who lost loved ones in the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.

"Today the name of Iran means a firm punch in the teeth of the powerful and it puts them in their place," he added in the address broadcast live on state television.

Ahmadinejad's comments come amid renewed Western efforts on the UN Security Council to agree a third package of sanctions against Tehran over its refusal to suspend sensitive nuclear activities.

I agree with you E.E. and I don't like it since I think what we are going to do is permanently occupy Iraq. If the Establishment thought Obama would come into Washington and change it like Romney was saying he would do then the press would be shredding the man to pieces. They know that the change he is really talking about is helping them push through their socialist agenda to yank the rest of the power away from the people. That is his change.
