Gay Marriage Ruling

The ruling has come down from California. The high court upheld the gay marriage ban but will allow existing same-sex marriages to stand. This is probably as good as we could expect from such a liberal court. Personally, I am relieved. This is far from over and there will be difficult battles in the future but for now we can be happy that the voters have been heard.

3. Spreading the message that the key for healing the nation is showing respect, tolerance and kindness as we accept the political differences of others.
