Republican Party at Risk

As I watch Mitt Romney handily winning the debate over Newt Gingrich, I decided to post the following quote by Bob Dole:
“If Gingrich is the nominee it will have an adverse impact on Republican candidates running for county, state, and federal offices,” Dole said. “Hardly anyone who served with Newt in Congress has endorsed him and that fact speaks for itself. He was a one-man-band who rarely took advice. It was his way or the highway.”
Dole, who served in the U.S. Senate when Gingrich was House speaker, harkened back to Gingrich’s style during his time in Congress.
“Gingrich had a new idea every minute and most of them were off the wall,” Dole said. “He loved picking a fight with Bill Clinton because he knew this would get the attention of the press. This and a myriad of other specifics helped to topple Gingrich in 1998.”

Right on, Pickles. Mitt won hands down. Santorum is such a weasle. Mitt keeps answering him about health care and keeps showing how wrong Santorum gets all his screwy numbers but he is a bulldog that won’t let it go. Santorum is a petulant child.
Mitt Romney is the only candidate that I respect. We have to get behind him. So proud of our candidate.

This isn’t just a Romney site. Ron Paul kicked butt tonight. He was the clear winner but Romney did do a great job.

Wow I am watching a recap that proves the reporters are wrong because alot of them are saying Santorum won. That is totally nutty. The recap proves that Mitt was fabulous and nobody with ears should argue unless they have no sense at all. Jesse I like Ron Paul. He is so adorable but I agree with peole who think he will have a hard time getting folks to work together and Mitt can do that.

David Gergan is such an obvious anti-Romney man. I hope everyone can see how prejudiced he is.
Lots of these MSM people were pushing Mitt last week to attack and stop being so meek. Haha Gingrich hasn’t been talking about meek Mitt this week. So I agree with some of these blogs that have talked about the press egging him to attack and now going after him now that he is doing it. The MSM is so hypocritical.
Maybe lots of the talk afterwards might be saying Santorum or R.P. won is getting shot down because they have been showing clips and like Pickles says, no contest who won.
