Newt’s Shocking Brag to a Reporter

Posted by Joy Bischoff under: Presidential Election 2012 .

Last night I heard a reporter on Fox News say that Newt told her he could tell the people that red is blue and they would believe him if he said it with enough passion. Think for a moment about the implications of that statement. Last night I also heard Newt say in his speech that it isn’t that he is a good debater, he simply in essence is just telling the people the truth. He also says repeatedly that he is the best debater and the one to take on Obama because of it.

Newt Gingrich is the real waffler, constantly changing his positions and lying about it. Mitt has flipped on a few issues but never flops. He shows he can study an issue and learn and grow from it and this is a good quality in a leader. Newt schmoozes both sides of the aisle.

A man I know worked in the White House for Reagan. He told me that twice Newt meet with Reagan and others on issues, promised his support and then promptly went and betrayed Reagan. Ronald Reagan could not stand Newt Gingrich. Have you noticed how Newt is always taking credit for helping Reagan save the world and create jobs? The man is a king sized liar.

The media constantly reinforces the idea of Romney as a flip-flopper and gives Gingrich a pass. Why? They want him to take on Obama so the Democrats keep the White House.

Imagine if Ron Paul or Romney had said this. It would be front page news. This slime just admitted that he can get away with lying and nobody cares?

Nah they would ignore Ron Paul. They hate his foreign policy and I’m not so crazy about it but what they really hate is how he nails the problem with the federal reserve and I totally agree with Ron Paul on that issue. But yeah they would blast Mitt to hell and back if he said anything like Gingrich got away with.

Joy were they critical of Gingrich when they reported what he said?

Thanks for your comments, guys.

The reporter thought it was funny and true. The panel made nothing of the issue and passed it off as a joke. Right now, Newt can get away with anything. Just wait if he gets the nomination. They will destroy him like they did McCain. And with Newt’s temper? Wow would that be a show. One I am hoping not to see.

I can’t believe the new poll out of Florida. Are the people really sheep who believe whoever yells the loudest? What a farce. Thanksk for answering my question Joy. I was afraid you would say that.

That is what I thought of in the final SC debate. Only Newt could scold a reporter for asking the one question the whole nation was thinking about, and get the upper hand. He can also call right wrong and get away with it. BTW factcheck.org took on the common claims about Mitt Romney’s flip flopping. The DNC put out an ad that made the common claims. (You know, the ones you see in carefully edited YouTube videos) and factcheck.org refuted almost all of them. I think there were 15 claims. 9 were called completely false and a few more somewhat false. Check it out here:

Encourage people to learn about our Constitution and the freedoms it preserves and to have faith in the Judaeo-Christian principles upon which it is based so that when those freedoms are threatened action may be taken to protect them.

In support of our mission statement, here is our Three-Fold Purpose of the blog, In God We Trust.

1. Defining and spreading an understanding of our Constitutional freedoms for the purpose of sustaining those freedoms.

2. Identifying threats to the unity of the conservative base, and helping people to resist the pressure to compromise values as an answer to political tensions.

3. Spreading the message that the key for healing the nation is showing respect, tolerance and kindness as we accept the political differences of others.
