Undecided Voters, It is Up to You
Posted by Joy Bischoff under: Constitution in Peril; Presidential Election 2008 .
Super Tuesday is rightfully called a tsunami. In my opinion I believe it could begin a tidal wave of change in this nation. Either we are going to be swept into chaos or toward real change. I want to challenge anyone who is still undecided about who to vote for in the election to consider something. Aside from the fear factor regarding the belief by some that John McCain can keep us safe, what is it that he is offering that is going to change the direction this country is headed in?
We have been trapped by a system of cronyism for many years. Back room deals with promises by the power brokers to support each other and assist each other in accomplishing their personal power grabs is something we all supposedly abhor. If we look at the list of moderate endorsements that have rolled to Senator McCain this week, we see cronyism at its best and at its all time transparency.
If Mitt Romney attempted to gain support from any government official by back room promises, the news would sniff this out or make valid assumptions and trumpet it loudly. Leaks are sprouting all over the place regarding Senator McCain’s deals but instead of exposing this serious problem that continues Washington Insider mentality, the press is praising McCain for his wave of support. Many voters are flocking to support McCain because of this one factor. How can they be swayed by watching liberal and moderate establishment endorsements when it is so obviously a bid to change the direction of our party? These should instead be a red-flag announcing what has taken place in the back room. Don’t be blinded by the cigar smoke. If the senator gets the nomination, we will see the pay off for all of these endorsements and this nation will mourn.
I am convinced that if John McCain takes the nomination, most Republicans in this country will know in a matter of months that they have made one of the biggest political mistakes in history and indeed have sharpened the stake that liberals will attempt to use to drive through the heart of our party. I do not believe this will mean the end of the Republican party because conservatism is not dead, it is simply asleep with many people. Hardship will awaken it again as happened with 9/11. I just hope and pray it does not take something that drastic to be the alarm clock. And I am convinced that Senator McCain offers nothing in the way of protection for possible coming dangers. His out of control anger and unbending stubbornness would jeopardize relations with foreign nations, his bomb, bomb, bomb, Iraq mentality would spread war, and his desire to have open borders would wave a welcome sign to terrorists. Then what is left that the man can do for us? Reward the system of cronyism, encouraging future use of this tool of corruption and control. That is all.
Let me leave you with one last thought from John McCain’s own words:
I think the Democratic Party is a fine party, and I have no problems with it, in their views and their philosophy.

My parents are democrates but I can’t follow that. I took a class in college that explained why the Soviet Union collapsed. We know socialism doesn’t work. Where does the money come from? Where does the incentive come from. John McCain is absolutely without a doubt a socialist.

You know, speaking of the Giuliani endorsement:
I think Giuliani was a good – even a great mayor. There is one thing though that I don’t think a lot of people out there realize.
Rudy G. actively lobbied for rule change in the key primary state of New York and New Jersey to make the states “Winner-take-all” He ‘knew’ he could win these states and therefore win the primary more easily. Sorry to those who have supported Giuliani, but this doesn’t pass the smell test.

Looks like Rudy was definitely in bed with McCain. This is not shocking to me. I don’t want to offend his fans either but there is an establishment out there that is far reaching and he was part of it. That doesn’t mean he was evil but the old guard needs to go.

I am not convinced that he was in bed with McCain. Maybe he just did it for himself. At any rate, though it may be legal, I don’t think it is fair play.

By being in bed I mean he is part of an establishment. I read a lot of those quotes yesterday and I believe there is a lot of truth to it.

Whether or not Rudy was part of the establishment, we can be sure that Rudy is for Rudy from what you found CTH.
I think this is a blog we should email around. Good info.

A new poll is out and it is fabulous. Nationally it has McCain and Romney tied at 38. In California it has Romney at 37 and McCain 34. This is the Rasmussen poll. Don’t give up everybody. I can feel the train coming back.

That changed fast in two days. Think what it can do in two more. We can do this folks, get the word out, talk to everyone you know and tell them to get the real word about both candidates out there.
