Rick Santorum throws his support to Mitt Romney.
When his fiscal conservative credentials were under attack, then U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., rolled out U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., for campaign stops around the state.
McCain vouched for him at three events including the Army-Navy Game Gala.
“[L]et’s not underestimate what Rick represents in the United States Senate, said McCain. “He represents family values, he represents commitment to family and America, and he represents what — in my view — is the next generation of leadership in the Republican Party. So there’s a lot at stake in this election. We can and will win this election, and it’s important that we do so. It’s important that we send a signal to America that this is the kind commitment and leadership that deserves to remain in the United States Senate.”
But after the election, Santorum made no secret of his disdain for McCain in the Senate.
“I served 12 years with him, six years in the Senate as one of the leaders of the Senate, trying to put together the conservative agenda, and almost at every turn, on domestic policy, John McCain was not only against us, but leading the charge on the other side,” Santorum said on Mark Levin’s syndicated radio show.

This is good news. I can just tell looking at him that he is a good person.

McCain’s best endorsement is from Huckabee. Tim Russert said that when McCain won Florida, there was no doubt that he was dangling the Vice Presidency in frontof Huckabee.

You know Jan, I was thinking the same thing. Looks can be deceiving though. He might be a serial killer!
