In God We Trust
Posted by Joy Bischoff under: Presidential Election 2008 .
I have never been in such agreement with Rush Limbaugh. Like yesterday, I am very proud of him. He is taking an unpopular stance in defending Romney and a religious based country. Rush insisted again and again that, “The founding principles must be accepted by most of us or we will lose America.” Rush drove home the point that, “Our country was founded by Natural Law,” and is a nation where, “Judeo-Christian ethics undergird our principles.” Rush says that the liberals are scared to death of this idea and the fact that Romney put forth this idea.
“The founding of liberalism is moral relativism. The founding of our Constitution is a threat to them.” He goes on to mock the liberal idea that the Constitution is a “Living, breathing document”. He said that the communists believe that the Constitution is not inclusive enough. He quoted an essay by an ex-communist that was entitled, “The Idolatry of Politics”. The piece insisted wrote that “The Bible taught that all men were created equal. It has largely been forgotten now”.
To sum it up, if “In God We Trust”, then He will sustain us as a nation. If not, then we are going to go through some very rough times.
