Going Forward
Posted by Joy Bischoff under: Presidential Election 2008 .
Mitt Romney has to be fighting discouragement after the relentless hours, emotional effort and money he has been putting into trying to save this country from sliding into liberalism and recession. He may be battered and bruised but he is a fighter. He has decided to throw himself into winning Super Tuesday. So we need to take a deep breath and go forward also. Mitt needs to feel our support.
Romney to run ads in California
By LIZ SIDOTI, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 11 minutes ago
LOS ANGELES – Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney plans to run a “significant” level of television ads in California and other states that vote Tuesday in essentially a national primary, aides said Thursday, signaling a willingness to aggressively try to derail Republican front-runner John McCain.
Since his defeat in Florida Tuesday, the former Massachusetts governor has been debating how much of an effort to make in the 21 states that hold primaries and caucuses next week. The campaign was spending the day hammering out its final strategy.
I also wanted to post Cameron’s last comment. I liked what he had to say:
These figures from the New York Times are making the rounds.
CNN has the exit-poll numbers, and they reveal some surprising things:
* Romney won pro-lifers.
* Romney won the mainstream religious. (Huckabee won the very religious less than one-fifth of the pool.)
* Romney won the Protestants.
* Romney tied Huckabee with Evangelicals.
* Romney won the pro-GWB voters.
* Romney is the primary second choice of Giuliani voters, Thompson voters …. and McCain voters.
* Romney won the immigration hard-liners.
* Romney won the upper-middle class, earning between $100,000 and $200,000 annually.
* Romney won the terrorism-oriented voters.
* Romney won the self-identified conservatives and the self-identified very conservative.
* Romney won the values-oriented voters.
* Romney won the white voters.
* Romney won the tax-cutting voters.
Will Republicans on Super Tuesday stand up for the real Republican or will they give up the hill, as Joy puts it. We really do need heroes now. Millions of them. Don’t be weak and give in to the liberal choice that is being forced on our party. Come on America!

Thanks Joy. It is hard. I keep reading how people are feeling sick to their stomach since Tuesday. I think we all have the same bug. Courage isn’t easy to have with a queasy stomach but that is when the men/women are separated from the boys/girls. And it is true. We will regret it if we don’t try our hardest.

I’m from California. We know how bad the immigration problem is. We know how liberal Arnold is. Come on CA, vote for Mitt or we will reap a harvest we don’t want. And I’m not talking lettuce.

Good one E.E.
I couldn’t believe this from the New York Post. They said McCain is winning despite the base. Why isn’t the base waking up? How could any conservative vote for McCain?

Huckabee just needs to get out so we can beat McCain but as we all know, Mitt is running against two people. I am an evangelical and I just wish my brothers and sisters could be logical and see how this is going to hurt them in the end. Their hatred of Romney will bite them.

McCain complains that Romney managed for profit. That is what socialists say. They hate business and jobs. Class warfare should be understood by every conservative to be the way Lenin brought about communism. We need more education.
