How can it be called a conspiracy theory when there is so much evidence? This video breaks my heart. Poor Ron Paul. He works so hard and this happens. I know it happened to you Mitt people to and I’m sorry. What do we do?

I decided to be good here but I can’t keep that promise when I see something like this. That man on this video is a Nazi. I’m not using that as name calling. I think he really is because he acts just like one. He just says outright that he doesn’t care what the law says. He decides and that’s it.

We are living in a day where people don’t really believe the stories from the Bible. If they are true, and I know they are, then we see God’s hand in many events. I am very sad about the destruction that happened yesterday and over night in the south but I am not surprised. I believe it was God’s hand because of the strings that were pulled yesterday to disenfranchise conservatives who believe in the Constitutional freedoms that guarantee freedom of religion. I am an evangelical but I do not support my fellows who are being guided by hatred. Last night the Huckabee headquarters was without power for awhile because of the storms. The most tornadoes were in Arkansas. Not a coincidence, in my opinion.

For anyone who doesn’t believe me, ask yourself if you believe the prophecies that are in the bible regarding the last days and the destruction that is coming. We may not have long til the rapture and the signs of the time are starting to happen. I feel bad for all those who died but I know the other side is a much better place and the innocent will be in a glorious place.

Dear Saddened,

I am very sad for you because you are not an honest person. I am sure you are not even an evangelical. I suspect you are a Mormon who helps these people try and worm their way into the Christian family and it will never work. How could you even write those words? To say that good, true Christians that live in those states ravaged by tornadoes could deserve what they got because they hate a Mormon. Even if you are a Mormon I would have hoped you would not stoop so low. Please stop pretending to be what you are not. It gives us a bad name.

I am a true evangelical and you had better not say I am not. I have never seen Saddened around here before so he or she is NOT a part of this blog trying to fool anybody. You are the problem and people like you. Listen to yourself, you sound hateful and rude. You are not giving us a good name and that embarrasses me. Saddened never said the people who were killed were bad. It says in the Book of Revelation that God makes the rain to fall on the good as well as the bad. I don’t know if Saddened was right or not but things like this are going to happen before the second coming. If you don’t believe it, maybe you are a fraud. Read the Bible.

A true evangelical should not be calling someone a liar whom they don’t know, just because you don’t agree. And of course if she is a liar, she is a Mormon right? “Even” a Mormon shouldn’t stoop so low eh? Even though I don’t agree with Saddened, it is she has a right to give an opinion. We don’t call fellow posters liars here if we don’t agree. We disagree here civilly. And this is not a forum to bash another person’s faith either.

A True Evangelical Says:

It is just as I figured. Everyone here is a Mormon. True Christians would not consort with Mormons.

Saddened Says:

6 February 2008 at 2:48 pm.

I’m sorry everyone. I didn’t mean to cause problems on your blog. I love what you are doing here and if I did something to make people dislike Mormons even more then I apologize.

Cavetrollhead Says:

Hey Saddened – you are very welcome here. No need to Apologize. Believe me not everyone here is Mormon and Mormons are used to being hated. I don’t think T. Evengelical is convincing anyone of anything. I mean come on, there is nothing subtle are artful about his anti-Mormon approach. His/Hers are the kind of things people used to say about Jews, and Catholics. Stick around – you have caused no harm. ” And we disagree with each other a lot here- civilly. T. EVAN*** has never posted here before.

Thank you Cavetrollhead. One of the things I have worried about is that the non-religious Americans who think Christians are the problem in the country will see the problems between Mormons and evangelicals and it will put us in a worse light. They already think we are hypocrites and don’t believe we bring a message of love.

E.E. Says:

You are more than welcome here, Saddened. I am a Mormon but I have good friends who are evangelicals. They are always surprised at first to find out I am normal and then to learn how much I love Jesus Christ and try to follow him. This person who calls themself “A True Evangelical” probably lives somewhere where there are no Mormons. A lot of people used to think we have horns. I guess that meant that baptism automatically brought sprouts on the head.

A True Evangelical Says:

If there are real Christians here then why do they put up with blogs like the one above by a Mormon leader?

Jan W. Says:

6 February 2008 at 3:23 pm.

I accept truth wherever I find it. There was nothing in that article that tried to convince me to become a Mormon. Do you really think everything Mormons say is evil?

Jesse Says:

Ignore the negativity, Saddened.

Getting back to this video. The question is, what do we do about it? Peter does have a point when he gets on here and talks about becoming a fringe site. Personally I like some of the things those fringe sites say but I understand that what we are doing here is different. Here we want to find common ground and not drive people away. Okay then, what do we do? I think those who don’t believe it is possible for voter fraud to happen should not worry about it. Those that do shouldn’t make an overly big deal about it. Just bring it to our attention because what it does is make us want to work harder to support conservative values and the constitution. So either way it is okay.

Cavetrollhead Says:

6 February 2008 at 3:44 pm.

Well said E.E. , the places Mitt Romney has done well are the places where there are enough Mormons to realize we are normal people. For example, in Wyoming Romney won 67%, but there are only 10% Mormons. Just enough that most there know a Mormon.

Cavetrollhead Says:

Jesse,
I think the very least we can do is to send the video link to everyone we know.

Nalvy Says:

As someone who is finally able to vote this year this video scares me a little… I mean honestly how I am to know what I end up being on the roster? It is a sad day and age to live in.

Watching the news yesterday and seeing all the evidence of voter fraud made me so angry and upset. I wish that more and more people would stand up against this and fight for our rights! Not everyone can put up with this

Ghost Says:

Yup, sending this video around could open some eyes. Pry them open and stick a toothpick in there.

Iffer Says:

Its amazing we have so much evidence, yet nothing seems to be changing.
The news would never run it. But we can all help, like Ghost says, by sending this video around

Our Mission Statement

Encourage people to learn about our Constitution and the freedoms it preserves and to have faith in the Judaeo-Christian principles upon which it is based so that when those freedoms are threatened action may be taken to protect them.

In support of our mission statement, here is our Three-Fold Purpose of the blog, In God We Trust.

1. Defining and spreading an understanding of our Constitutional freedoms for the purpose of sustaining those freedoms.

2. Identifying threats to the unity of the conservative base, and helping people to resist the pressure to compromise values as an answer to political tensions.

3. Spreading the message that the key for healing the nation is showing respect, tolerance and kindness as we accept the political differences of others.
