First Amendment Abuse
Posted by Joy Bischoff under: Constitution in Peril .
We have been seeing more and more abuse of basic rights lately and we have decided to begin sharing evidence of this abuse when it seems clear cut. There is a disturbing arrogance creeping into some of law enforcement and from what we have seen, most cases are being cleared by their own internal probes.

I’ve been watching this kind of thing too. It gets scary when they uphold each other in these illegal actions. What do we do when there is no recourse?

The government is slowly taking away our freedoms. And it is pretty scary.

Maybe for future reference for the rest of us a list should be put up of what we are allowed to do or not…. I hate lists and the fact that our basic rights are being taken away.

I wonder what they were trying to hide. Maybe there was a guest there that they didn’t want people to know about. Still, not legal.

I’m scared of the cops. I can remember when I was a little girl most of them that I saw were nice but lately they seem a lot more threatening. I think power is going to there heads because they know they will be protected by there bosses if they get out of line.

Secret combinations… The so-called brotherhood of police. In reality, if you cannot take care of your own, your organization, what it initially may be, will be corrupted completely. And there are too many of those corrupted organizations already. Sigh… Signs of time.

What is a secret combination?

Secret organizations. They would look out only for the interests of their own members, and no one else. They won’t care much for the Constitutional rights.

Jan W, I should add quickly that there still are a lot of good people out there. I am not saying here we should bunker down. But it will be more and more difficult to combat those organizations, as they get their people in powerful positions like this mayor and the other law enforcement officers. The best way we can approach this is to get those out in the light, like what Joy is trying to do here.

Okay, thanks. So that would apply to a lot of things like academics only giving tenure to atheists in lots of the universities and judges being put on the bench that will support the liberal agenda, especially homosexuality, instead of supporting the constitution.

Intriguing term, secret combinations. Thanks for remembering those in my situation, Jan. So you have noticed the problem in academia?

I heard an interview by a man who made a movie that is coming out this spring about this subject. I thought of you actually. I didn’t know it was so bad. I was hoping you were just at a very liberal school but apparently it is more widespread.

Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed. Coming out in April. I can’t wait but I’ll have to go incognito or see it in another town. This movie is going to stir up both sides.

Jan W, yeah, like that!

Hang in there professor. At least you are letting us know what is really going on. I would bet most of the people that come to this blog very much will want to see that movie and will be more likely to believe it. They need to prepare their kids before they go off to college so they don’t get sucked in.
