The Truth About Drilling in ANWR
Posted by Terrie Soberg under: Emergency Preparation; Guest Blogger; Presidential Election 2008; Rejecting Herd Mentality; What's News .
Thanks to Sharon Anderson for this wonderful information:
Several of you have asked why someone doesn’t do something about the high cost of gasoline. I heard a Democratic Senator on a radio talk show last week say that he doesn’t want us to drill off Florida and in other forbidden places because if we have all that oil we won’t overcome our oil addiction. We won’t be motivated to find alternative sources of energy. (Apparently he doesn’t care about the hardships the average American will have to endure in the meantime.) This is the mentality that has a vice grip on our oil producing capabilities. –Sharon
FIRST. do you know what ANWR is?
ANWR = Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
A comparison

And some perspective.

Note Where The Proposed Development Area Is.
(it’s in the ‘ANWR Coastal Plain’)

This Is What The Democrats, Liberals And ‘Greens’ Show You When They Talk About ANWR, and they are right. These ARE photographs of ANWR.

Isn’t ANWR Beautiful? Why Should We Drill Here (And Destroy) This Beautiful Place?
Well. That’s Not Exactly The Truth
Do you remember the map?
The map showed that the proposed drilling area is in the ANWR Coastal Plain.
Do those photographs look like a coastal plain to you?
What’s Going On Here? The Answer Is Simple.
That Is Not Where They Are Wanting To Drill!
This Is What The Proposed Exploration Area Actually Looks Like In The Winter

And This Is What It Actually Looks Like In The Summer

As You Can See, The Area Where They Are Talking About Drilling Is A Barren Wasteland.
Oh, and They Say That They Are Concerned about the Effect on the Local Wildlife.
Here is a Summer shot of the ‘Depleted Wildlife’ Situation Created By Drilling Around Prudhoe Bay.
Don’t You Think That The Caribou Really Hate That Drilling?

Here’s That Same Spot During The Winter.

Hey, This Bear Seems To Really Hate The Pipeline Near Prudhoe Bay*.

*The Prudhoe Bay Area Accounts for 17% of Domestic Oil Production
Now, Why Do You Think That The Democrats Are Lying About ANWR?
Remember When Al Gore Said that the Government Should Work To Artificially Raise Gas Prices to $5.00 A Gallon?
Well, Al Gore and His Fellow Democrats Have Almost Reached Their Goal!
Now That You Know That The Democrats Have Been Lying, What Are You
Going To Do About It?

What an eye opener. The liberals are so dishonest and manipulative. I guess I shouldn’t say all of them but the agenda sure is.

Thanks for putting this up. I’ve wondered about this issue and what the details were but never took the time to look into it. Angela, you are right, it is an eye opener.

I like the one with the bear on the pipe. It doesn’t have to be a problem.

Its not a problem its an excuse. They just want higher gas prices.

Right Bryon.
I am going to email this to my list. Everyone needs to see what a farce this is and we need to keep the dialog going.

Here is an interesting video that indicates they don’t have to go exploring or drilling to find the oil. They already know there is one of the biggest oil fields in the world in Alaska and they know where it is. This video is long but fascinating and well worth watching even though some question this account. You can go to the link and then choose to view it in segments if you want. For those who watch it, I’d like to know what you think.

I’ve heard Lindsy Williams before. He is great and so obviously honest. Everybody should hear this. Glad you put it up for us Sharon. I am going to save this one.

Sharon, I watched the video and now I’m mad. What a scam is going on and most people don’t have a clue.
