In Europe, during the days of the Founders, it was very popular to proclaim that the role of the government was to take from the “haves” and give to the “have nots” so that all might be truly “equal”. However, the American Founders perceived that this proposition contained a huge fallacy.
The Founders recognized that the people cannot delegate to their government the power to do anything except that which they have the lawful right to do themselves.

I didn’t realize this problem started so long ago. Looks like it is an entrenched idea to take away money and incentives. I love what Skousen wrote about it, makes perfect sense to me.

Im purty sure it all began with Cain. He was plain ole jealous that Romney earned all his own money and had a purtier wife an - hold on I think I got the wrong Cain. So anyway Cain coveted what his more Abel brother had. And we all been coveting since. God told Moses ta tell us ta knock it off but we didnt. There was even somethin writin about it in stone.
