The way housing dropped like a rock in Utah and a lot of other figures I’ve seen makes me think the whole country is in recession. The numbers were barely above recession level in the last quarter of 07 but the Christmas bounce that never was, put us just above the line. Christmastime should have put us well above the line. Denial of the seriousness of the problems keeps us from addressing it properly.

I don’t need no map to tell me MA is in big trouble. I’m starting to see layoffs and prices are indecent.
