Confidential Doc Warns Of Conflict Or Revolution For US

Wayne Madsen Report

4-3-8

WMR has learned from knowledgeable sources within the US financial community that an alarming confidential and limited distribution document is circulating among senior members of Congress and their senior staff members that is warning of a bleak future for the United States if it does not quickly get its financial house in order.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is among those who have reportedly read the document.

The document is being called the “C & R” document because it reportedly states that if the United States defaults on loans and debt underwriting from China, Japan, and Russia, all of which are propping up the United States government financially, and the United States unilaterally cancels the debts, America can expect a war that will have disastrous results for the United States and the world.

“Conflict” is the “C word” in the document.

The other scenario is that the federal government will be forced to drastically raise taxes in order to pay off debts to foreign countries to the point that the American people will react with a popular revolution against the government. “Revolution” is the document’s “R word.”

The origin of the document is not known, however, its alarming content matches up with previous warnings from former Comptroller General David Walker who abruptly resigned as head of the Government Accountability Office (GAO) in February of this year after repeatedly publicly warning of a “financial meltdown” disaster if America’s $9 trillion debt was not addressed quickly.

Financial experts have warned that the national debt, corrected for inflation, could reach $46 trillion in the next 20 years. A month earlier, Walker warned the Senate Banking Committee about the reaction of creditor nations in Asia and Europe if the U.S. did not address its debt problem.

Maybe there is some hope for an Iraqi government.
Analysis: Iraqi PM wins rare support

By HAMZA HENDAWI, Associated Press Writer Sat Apr 5, 8:37 PM ET

BAGHDAD - Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s faltering crackdown on Shiite militants has won the backing of Sunni Arab and Kurdish parties that fear both the powerful sectarian militias and the effects of failure on Iraq’s fragile government.

The emergence of a common cause could help bridge Iraq’s political rifts.

The head of the Kurdish self-ruled region, Massoud Barzani, has offered Kurdish troops to help fight anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr’s Mahdi Army militia.

More significantly, Sunni Arab Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi signed off on a statement by President Jalal Talabani, a Kurd, and the Shiite vice president, Adil Abdul-Mahdi, expressing support for the crackdown in the oil-rich southern city of Basra.

Al-Hashemi is one of al-Maliki’s most bitter critics and the two have been locked in an acrimonious public quarrel for a year. Al-Hashemi has accused the prime minister of sectarian favoritism and al-Maliki has complained that the Sunni vice president is blocking key legislation.

On Thursday, however, al-Maliki paid al-Hashemi a rare visit. A statement by al-Hashemi’s office said the vice president told al-Maliki that “we can bite the bullet and put aside our political differences.”

I wanted to share a thought or two of what President Monson, the president of the LDS Church just talked about. He said that we needed to show love and kindness to every soul on earth. That reminded me of the attitude we try to have here but don’t always achieve. I will try harder. He also said that although the Lord doesn’t always take away our trial, that if we come near to Him that He will, with love, guide us through the storm. That also made me think of the economic and social challenges we are seeing. A positive attitude no matter what comes is an important thing to remember and I am grateful to be reminded of it.

Stumpy, you be faithful to Pickles.

E.E. I liked what you wrote. That was an amazing talk and makes me want to be more loving to everyone too. Sometimes we get heated up in political discussion and forget what is most important in life. I know there are a lot of liberals with good hearts and I know there are a lot of good things about the Muslim people. I will try and remember this more.

Careful Stumpy, Miss Pickles needs to be treated right so she doesn’t turn into Miss Prickles.
