I’ve seen some Visa commercials like this and they bugged me I just didn’t ever take the time to stop and wonder why. You are right Terrie. It is so Pavlov. I am nervous about going to a completely cashless system. There are all kinds of negative things it can lead to.

Watching this video reminds me of a song my grandpa use to sing. He is my mom’s dad and he grew up in mining country in Pennsylvania. The song went something like this:
I load sixteen tons what do I get, another day older and deeper in dept, Lordy don’t you call me cause I can’t go, I owe my soul to the company store.

I never really did like these commercials except for their clever marketing… alwyas has fascinated me how one little commercial can have so many different meanings and subtle brainwashing techniques.
