So why am I posting a story from London that has nothing to do with us? I just think it is funny that the Brits use to send their criminals to Australia and now Australia is deporting their criminal the England.

Brit outrage as Aussies deport sex pest

Convicted serial paedophile Raymond Horne will arrive in London today - to the outrage of child advocacy groups - after his deportation from Australia.

Horne, 61, who moved to Australia aged five, has a 43-year history of sexual assaults on under-age boys.

The Times today reported the notorious child sex offender, who has spent a total of 14 years in jail for offences against boys as young as 13, was likely to reoffend.

Australian immigration officials, who escorted Horne on the flight from Brisbane yesterday, are expected to hand him over to Scotland Yard upon arrival.

After his most recent stint in jail, the Department of Immigration declared Horne an unlawful person to be deported back to England. He will be placed on a sex offenders’ register but will largely be free to go where he pleases.

11,000 pages of yawn. . .

Analysis: Papers show highs and lows

By BETH FOUHY, Associated Press

NEW YORK - Newly released schedules from Hillary Rodham Clinton’s eight years in the White House portray an activist first lady who weighed in on policy, traveled the globe and won a race for the U.S. Senate.

But they also serve as an unsettling reminder of her husband’s affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky and the subsequent impeachment proceedings, just as the Democratic presidential candidate appears to be strengthening her position against rival Barack Obama.

The 11,000 pages of schedules released by the National Archives sent journalists and political junkies scrambling to find out where the former first lady was and what she was doing on the totemic days of the Lewinsky saga.

For example, Hillary Clinton was at the White House — attending events in the Map Room and the Diplomatic Reception Room — on Feb. 28, 1997, the day Lewinsky wore her navy blue Gap dress during a sexual encounter with the president.

On Jan. 21, 1998 — the day news of the Lewinsky matter burst into public view — Hillary Clinton received an honorary degree at Goucher College north of Baltimore. Her infamous interview on NBC’s “Today Show,” where she proclaimed the Lewinsky allegations the work of a “vast right wing conspiracy,” followed on Jan. 27.

Excerpts below are from a bird flu article in a mainstream press. This article is a good reminder to check out the Bird Flu Prep information on this site which is found under Notable Notes.

Headline:Indonesia: Rampant bird flu raises pandemic risks

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Efforts to contain bird flu are failing in Indonesia, increasing the possibility that the virus may mutate into a deadlier form, the leading U.N. veterinary health body warned.

“I am deeply concerned that the high level of virus circulation in birds in the country could create conditions for the virus to mutate and to finally cause a human influenza pandemic,” FAO Chief Veterinary Officer Joseph Domenech said.

McCain is so self righteous I just can’t stand it. This is the man who push-polled and sent out mailings with lies in them and attacked Romney viciously in debates. He has no honor, no integrity and I will never support a man like that. Not ever.

McCain aide suspended for relaying video

The staffer, a low-level aide named Soren Dayton, sent out a link Thursday to the YouTube video, titled “Is Obama Wright?” on the social messaging Web site Twitter.

The campaign suspended him a few hours later, although it wouldn’t say for how long.

“We have been very clear on the type of campaign we intend to run and this staffer acted in violation of our policy,” campaign spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker said. “He has been reprimanded by campaign leadership and suspended from the campaign.”

Our Mission Statement

Encourage people to learn about our Constitution and the freedoms it preserves and to have faith in the Judaeo-Christian principles upon which it is based so that when those freedoms are threatened action may be taken to protect them.

In support of our mission statement, here is our Three-Fold Purpose of the blog, In God We Trust.

1. Defining and spreading an understanding of our Constitutional freedoms for the purpose of sustaining those freedoms.

2. Identifying threats to the unity of the conservative base, and helping people to resist the pressure to compromise values as an answer to political tensions.

3. Spreading the message that the key for healing the nation is showing respect, tolerance and kindness as we accept the political differences of others.
