Lou Dobbs has strong words for America
Posted by Joy Bischoff under: Constitution in Peril .

I just listened to an interview with Lou Dobbs who has written a new book, Independence Day. The book outlines the challenge we have to try and take back our country from the elites. Dobbs encourages us to get involved in trying to find good people to support in the November election. This is something we have all been encouraging. Here is part of a review:
INDEPENDENTS DAY provides a strong overview of America’s critical condition and sounds the warning that we Americans must not hide our heads in the sand with regard to them. 2008 is our chance to vote into office politicians who can and will represent us, not the “elite establishment,” and who can and will meet our nation’s problems head on.
I and want to share a few things he said in the interview:
Dobbs said that the elites of this nation have created our current problems, perpetuated them, and now offer our three major presidential candidates as a solution to those problems. He stated that there is no real difference between the candidates who are all tied in with the same elitists.
Lou Dobbs was initially hired at CNN as their financial director, having years of experience in the business sector. He said we are heading for stagflation which is slow or no economic growth and unemployment, accompanied by rising prices and inflation. This is a bad combination. Dobbs also is upset that Alan Greenspan told the Arab countries last week that they should dump the dollar. Dobbs said that the multi-national corporations have no loyalty to America and are not looking out for her best interests.
Dobbs is concerned that the will of the majority is not being followed by congress. We elect our representatives and send them to congress and not only do most of them not represent our wishes, they deride our wishes when they get to Washington.
Lou Dobbs concluded with this thought: America has to awaken to the threat of losing her sovereignty to a North American Union or we can kiss our future goodbye.

I like Lou Dobbs. He must be pretty powerful in his field to be able to come out with this stuff without getting in big trouble. Good for him.

So it sounds like Lou doesn’t support Obama, Clinton or McCain. Like lots of us he has decided instead to focus on voting for congress and maybe the state positions too. At least he is speaking up. I bet a lot of the other reporters aren’t happy with him.

Well lets start discussing candidates for congress then.

Yeah but the problem is, they are different in different states so that gets confusing. I just heard the president talk about how bad the economy is. That’s kind of scary.

Way to go Lou Dobbs. That’s a little straight talk. For anyone thinking about voting for John McCain, read what Chuck Baldwin wrote about him:
Let me say it straight out: a John McCain Presidency would be far worse than a Barack Obama Presidency. With a Democrat in the White House, conservatives and Christians suddenly find their principles and are able to offer resistance. Put a Republican in the Oval Office, however, and those same people become blind, deaf, and dumb to most any principle they profess.
Nowhere is McCain’s chicanery and duplicity more jeopardous than in the area of the right to keep and bear arms. On issues relating to the Second Amendment, John McCain is a disaster! For example, the highly respected Gun Owners of America (GOA) rates McCain with a grade of F-. McCain’s failing grade is well deserved.
John McCain sponsored an amendment to S. 1805 on March 2, 2004 that would outlaw the private sale of firearms at gun shows. According to GOA, the provision would effectively eliminate gun shows, because every member of an organization sponsoring a gun show could be imprisoned if the organization fails to notify each and every “person who attends the special firearms event of the requirements [under the Brady Law].”
John McCain also sponsored an Incumbent Protection provision to the so-called “Campaign Finance Reform” bill, which severely curtails the ability of outside groups (such as GOA) to communicate the actions of incumbent politicians to members and supporters prior to an election.
The GOA report of the 106th Congress reveals that out of 15 votes relating to the right to keep and bear arms, Senator John McCain voted favorably only 4 times. Put that into a percentage and McCain’s pro-Second Amendment voting record is a pathetic 27%.

You would think that someone who was so strong on national security would be for the second amendment. I am surprised at this and have to admit I didn’t know about it. I wonder why more isn’t being said because this is very important to a lot of people.

that is because if more was being said people would realize the truth and they wouldnt stand for it…. everyone likes to just sit around and think everything is as they are told..No need to rock the boat in their opinions.
