A North American Union Gaining Momentum
Posted by Roy Bischoff under: Constitution in Peril .
Sometimes it helps to check news sources from other countries to learn all the news. Although this story says the agreement was announced in the United States, the MSM has not reported on this. The following disturbing story is from Canwest News Service:
Canada, U.S. agree to use each other’s troops in civil emergencies
David Pugliese, Published: Friday, February 22, 2008
Canada and the U.S. have signed an agreement that paves the way for the militaries from either nation to send troops across each other’s borders during an emergency, but some are questioning why the Harper government has kept silent on the deal.
Neither the Canadian government nor the Canadian Forces announced the new agreement, which was signed Feb. 14 in Texas.
The U.S. military’s Northern Command, however, publicized the agreement with a statement outlining how its top officer, Gen. Gene Renuart, and Canadian Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, head of Canada Command, signed the plan, which allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency.
American soldiers arrive on board the HMCS TORONTO as part of a training exercise in carrying out a NATO presence patrol in the Indian Ocean near Somalia. A new agreement between the U.S. and Canadian militaries has been greeted with suspicion by the left wing in Canada and the right wing in the U.S.”
The left-leaning Council of Canadians, which is campaigning against what it calls the increasing integration of the U.S. and Canadian militaries, is raising concerns about the deal.
“It’s kind of a trend when it comes to issues of Canada-U.S. relations and contentious issues like military integration. We see that this government is reluctant to disclose information to Canadians that is readily available on American and Mexican websites,” said Stuart Trew, a researcher with the Council of Canadians.
Trew said there is potential for the agreement to militarize civilian responses to emergency incidents. He noted that work is also underway for the two nations to put in place a joint plan to protect common infrastructure such as roadways and oil pipelines.
“Are we going to see (U.S.) troops on our soil for minor potential threats to a pipeline or a road?” he asked.
Trew also noted the U.S. military does not allow its soldiers to operate under foreign command so there are questions about who controls American forces if they are requested for service in Canada. “We don’t know the answers because the government doesn’t want to even announce the plan,” he said.
The following link and information was taken from an official government site. This was given in a White House press release three years ago. Since that time, many laws have been implemented to move along a North American Union. Joy reported in an earlier blog how we read a book published by the CFR fifty years ago outlining the plan for a EU and a North American Union, followed by an Asian Union. These were eventually to be unified into a One World Government. Some may claim this is only a conspiracy theory but there is such overwhelming evidence from such solid sources that no American should still be ignorant of this. Without this understanding, one cannot filter and grasp the political game of chess that is being played by world governments and the Establishment. Time to wake up America.

North American Leaders Unveil Security and Prosperity Partnership
Bush, Fox, Martin outline trilateral efforts during March 23 meeting
President Bush speaks during a news conference in Waco, Texas on March 23 after talks with Mexican President Vincente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin. (AP/WWP) President Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin and Mexican President Vicente Fox announced the establishment of the “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America” in a March 23 joint statement.
Convening that same day in Waco, Texas, for a trilateral meeting, the North American leaders said the security and prosperity of their nations are “mutually dependent and complementary” and explained the impetus for the new initiative.
“In a rapidly changing world, we must develop new avenues of cooperation that will make our open societies safer and more secure, our businesses more competitive, and our economies more resilient,” they said in their statement.
The leaders indicated that the North American partnership will work to achieve these ends and “is committed to reach the highest results to advance the security and well-being of our people.”
As part of their efforts to protect North America from external threats, to prevent and respond to threats within North America, and to streamline legitimate cross-border trade and travel, the three countries will implement common border-security strategies, enhance infrastructure protection, implement a common approach to emergency response, implement improvements to aviation and maritime security, enhance intelligence partnerships, combat transnational threats, and implement a border-facilitation strategy.
The economic union of Europe accomplished what Hitler attempted but without bloodshed. The goals were reached through trade agreements that grew into agency interdependence and in essence, the formation of one nation, The United States of Europe. The same process is being inacted in North America and these trade agreements supercede our Constitution. Through Executive Orders, the balance of power is out of balance. Two of the three branches, Executive and judicial, have stolen power from our elected officials in congress.
Here is a taste of how the Canadian people feel about the union. Following is one of many Canadian websites dedicated to fighting the SPP :
SPP WATCH
Integrate This! is about challenging the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP), an executive-level pact between the governments and corporate sectors of Canada, the United States and Mexico, which has never been debated publicly or voted on in any of the three countries. There are over 300 initiatives in the SPP aimed at harmonizing North American policies on food, drugs, security, immigration, refugees, manufacturing, the environment and public health.
But media reports often fail to link regulatory changes designed to move the SPP forward back to the broader goal of continental economic and security integration.
Lou Dobbs is the only main stream reporter who has had the courage to publicly discuss this power grab and it scares him to death. Bite by bite it is eating up our Constitution. Their plan for emergencies such as a flu pandemic puts in place UN control and suspends our Constitution. For those of you who have not learned about this, please google and learn. The only reason left for not facing what is happening is simple fear and denial.

There is so much truth in the fact that we need to look at news beyond our own borders. With the internet, the BBC is just a click away, as well as news from the other countries around the globe. Glenn Beck said one time that he learns the most from our news by turning off the volume and just watching the pictures. That’s one of the ways he is able to put so many pieces of the puzzle together for us.
I first learned about the New World Order from a friend back in 1992. People thought she was crazy, but I knew there was truth in what she talked about. I saw the beginnings of One World Government. I saw the seeds being planted for a One World Religion. But I hadn’t seen the third leg of their stool, One Child Per Family. One afternoon, I was watching television. A commercial came on with Charlton Heston telling us the dangers of what would happen if five billion people from another planet came to ours. Then he said it’s already happening right here on our own planet. He told us that we needed to do something about the world’s population.
My mouth dropped open. Right before my eyes was evidence of the third stool leg. I couldn’t deny it–there it was, out in the open. Back then, the plan was to have everything fully in place by the year 2000. They are behind schedule, but things are moving along now.

Is this why President Bush won’t close the borders?

I agree Terrie. Back then you had to look into things to find out the truth. Now the evidence is all around us. Now you have to close your eyes not to see it.
Angela, you hit it on the head. The President has said a few different times that he will take care of the problem by securing the border and announced funds for doing that. I just read a report yesterday from the Minutemen that the fed has cut 3 billion from securing the border. They appease people by saying they will throw money at it and do it very publicly then later remove the funds very quietly.

Roy,
It seems like a lot of this blog’s topic ended up on the Nader page.
Speaking of this sounding like a conspiracy theory (one world government) Michael Medved was treating the North American Union like a Wacko conspiracy theory and made fun of those who claimed a super highway was in the works.
Well the rest is history. WE know it is happening. Medved gets a lot of thing wrong. This was a biggie.
Jesse,
You are right, it is not lack of information. It is too much misinformation. Too much chatter. Many people claiming for fact that which is only rumor. That is why no one is listening. Who can sort through it all. I think we need to be very careful of the assertions we make. I hear a lot of misinformation about the federal reserve. People claim as fact complete falsehoods. (Many people go on at length about the Fed and don’t understand it in the least.) Most conspiracy theories are wrong, so the ones that are right are lost in the chatter.
We need to focus on fact- not rumor, or this site becomes part of the endless static.
But back to your point the boarder. It is sad and pathetic.

not your point- your point was good.
The facts a sad and pathetic.

You know, there really isn’t a highway is there? I keep hearing about this Super Highway, but I can’t find any evidence of it happening.

OK here it is from wikipedia. It goes by the name of Trans-Texas_corridor. I don’t really see how it is sinister. But I haven’t been following the story.

There are a lot of theories about a NAFTA Super highway from Mexico to Canada. It is all pretty murky and we will have to wait and see if such a thing is really on the drawing board or not. For now we only have the facts for the Trans-Texas corridor to be built by Spain. They will not own the quarter mile wide super highways but they will lease them for 50 years and will be allowed by law to charge whatever they want for the toll roads. There will be easy access from Mexico importing goods from China that will bypass American ports and hurt the western United States. The corridor will be a four lane super highway and railway, also power lines and more. The land owners will be forced to sell. Lots of groups are concerned with easier access to drug trafficking among many other concerns.

BTW Sharon. I don’t know if you will refer back to this blog, but just in case- thanks for that link to Lou Dobbs’ CNN report on the TTC. It was illuminating- though brief.
I like to see it because Michael Medved got this so wrong. He is so smug and so rude and so condescending. He loves to poison the well an marginalize those with whom he disagrees. I love to see him discredited.
Anyway, he really mocked those who were bringing up the Super highway. He said it didn’t exist, and absolutely belittled people who said it was in the works.
I love to see him eat crow now.
I guess I am just a spiteful little man.
But way too many people rely on his opinion. They need to know how wrong he is so much of the time.
