Obama and Mayor Bloomberg

I got this from TownHall.com:

It’s About to Get Real Ugly

The word on the street is that the Obama campaign and New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg have already met and devised an incredible plan if Clinton wins the nominee. Mayor Bloomberg would give nearly $1 billion to Obama’s campaign after which Obama would bolt from the Democratic Party and run as an Independent candidate with king-maker Bloomberg as his running mate. The Obama campaign realizes that Obama is too new at this game and doesn’t have the political weight of the Clintons to bring in the true heavy-hitters of the party’s hierarchy. So, according to sources it was Bloomberg himself who suggested this cunning strategy. It’s mind boggling that the Clintons are willing to destroy the entire Democratic Party, and potentially in the process lose the White House and seats in Congress, for their own selfish thirst for power and glory.

They wanted to see us conservatives in total disarray and we had to listen to them laugh about it. Now it is them but I’m not laughing. It feels like everybody is separating into armed camps. I want America back.

I have been waiting to see what Bloomberg would do. He is watching everything like a hawk.

I have been expecting a third party bid but it would be so freaky if it came from Obama if Hillary cheats her way in. I would have thought a third party would have been a better choice for conservatives. Who knows. Everything is so unpredictable.

I don’t really get it. How is Clinton culpable if Bloomberg does this. Seems like Hillary would be the victim and not the perp.

Hillary can probably only win if they break the rules and seat the Michigan and Florida delegates that were banned and she agreed they should be banned…before! And then she would also need the super delegates who can blow off the voting public and change the race completely. If the Clinton machine pulls this off, along with more voting fraud, Obama could be pretty upset and take the deal with Bloomberg.

E.E. and we can assume that will turn off the Dems base enough to put McCain into office.

I hadn’t thought of that, Cave. You could be right. I can’t imagine what is going to happen this year. Everything feels crazy and dark to me. I am usually really positive and optimistic but I am having a hard time with all of this.

Well E.E. It seems that way to me too sometimes. I think everything will turn out just fine for us though.

But just in case (and this may sound obtuse) get a years supply of food storage and develop a system of cycling the food (eating the oldest food first) so you always have a year of food without wasting any. Also get a good water storage that you can cycle. You might not need all this but it will help you feel better about your, and your family’s, security = real peace of mind you know?

A 72 hour emergency kit is a good idea too.

You know, developing a food storage and water supply, (emergency preparedness) in general might make a good blog. We don’t want to seem nutty though. Just seems like common sense and the peace it offers is priceless.

Our Mission Statement

Encourage people to learn about our Constitution and the freedoms it preserves and to have faith in the Judaeo-Christian principles upon which it is based so that when those freedoms are threatened action may be taken to protect them.

In support of our mission statement, here is our Three-Fold Purpose of the blog, In God We Trust.

1. Defining and spreading an understanding of our Constitutional freedoms for the purpose of sustaining those freedoms.

2. Identifying threats to the unity of the conservative base, and helping people to resist the pressure to compromise values as an answer to political tensions.

3. Spreading the message that the key for healing the nation is showing respect, tolerance and kindness as we accept the political differences of others.
