Glen Johnson, at it again
Posted by Roy Bischoff under: What's News .
Well it looks like Glen Johnson is at it again. Alongside a terrible picture of Romney runs his article in which he attributes his invective aimed at McCain to Romney. It also appears to be an effort to help fracture the Republican Party:
Romney offers Democrats McCain playbook
By GLEN JOHNSON, Associated Press Writer Sat Feb 9, 10:28 AM ETWASHINGTON - It always sounded innocuous enough, tucked into the adjectives Mitt Romney would rattle off when he described the qualities for the next president.Wisdom, optimism and the right temperament, said the former Republican presidential candidate.
There was no doubt whom Romney was referring to — rival and likely GOP nominee John McCain, whose short-fuse temper is widely known, especially among his Senate colleagues.
The dig that McCain lacks the comportment to be commander in chief was part of the playbook that Romney used in his unsuccessful bid to secure the Republican nomination. Now it provides a piece of the playbook for either Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton or Sen. Barack Obama in a general election campaign against the four-term Arizona senator. I’m just glad Glen Johnson is not putting words in my mouth. I don’t have enough toothpaste or mouthwash on hand to deal with it.

I remember the video of him. I can’t get over how much he hates Romney. He use to blast him whenever he said anything about MCain. He’s rake Romney over the coals for attacking McCain. Weird that now he is doing it. This man has problems.

The democrats will have a lot more than that to use on McCain. He, as one of the Keating Five, took many unreported luxury trips courtesy of Keating as well as over $200,000 in contributions. Granted it was a long time ago, and he repaid the money and apologized for the illegalities of not reporting the bribes (trips). But a play on words that he was one of the “Cheating Five” would have been fun to hear. Too bad our memories are so short.

Hey Chuck,
You are right on. They are gonna turn on McCain like dogs to their vomit.

You two Cs are keeping me entertained. And in these days we could all use plenty of that.
Come on, Roy. I’ve been trying to work on my Christian charity but articles like this make me want to say grrrr. (keeping with the dog theme but don’t you dare call me a dog.)

On the dog theme, I am just now imagining mascots for the candidates:
The crime dog McGruff canvassing neighborhoods for McCain.
Huckleberry Hound howling for Huckabee.
Underdog for Ron Paul.
A fire hydrant for Mitt Romney.
Obama - political correctness requires me to skip.
Hillary, she… well you can imagine.
