The Time Has Come

I have often wondered what it is that makes so many people willfully blind themselves to overwhelming evidence of the socialist encroachment in our government. Otherwise intelligent friends refuse to even glance at conclusive evidence straight from the source. For example, some years ago my wife prepared a report for a class regarding NAFTA. One of the sources she used was a book written and published in the 1950s by the Council on Foreign Relations. The book laid out their plan to create a European Union, a North American Union that would later include the rest of the Americas, and an Asian Union. They outlined how this would be done through financial means and trade agreements. Then they explained how when the time was right, they would put these groups together for a One World Government. The source is irrefutable but so many people put labels on us for believing the words straight from the CFR. This is only one example of many I could give. At length, I have come to believe the reason for this reaction is fear.
It is time to put away our fear and face the truth, and we must do it now, or the sacrifice required to regain our freedoms will be too great to contemplate.
I want to share a few of my favorite quotes from the PDF file Jesse sent. The first one was especially pertinent in light of Joy’s discussion today and her comment about political correctness, mainly the word ‘conspiracy’:

I love the quote by Patrick Henry. He is one of my favorite patriots. Roy I have to admit this is all pretty new to me but I have decided not to be afraid of the truth. What I would like to know is did you see that book with your own eyes? I have a friend that told me about Lou Dobbs reporting about the plan for the North American Union. I didn’t believe her but now with what you wrote and everything else I am reading I think I had better look into it because that is one of the nastiest things I have ever heard and I can’t believe people are not talking about it.

These are great quotes. I’ve wondered a lot about how come people can’t see all the problems and the corruption and yup, even the dreaded word conspiracy. Fear makes alot of sense Roy.

Politicians are getting bolder in trying to take our freedoms away. Some people may like this idea but wait until it progresses until it effects you.
Mississippi Pols Seek To Ban Fats
New bill would make it illegal for restaurants to serve the obese
FEBRUARY 1–Mississippi legislators this week introduced a bill that would make it illegal for state-licensed restaurants to serve obese patrons. Bill No. 282, a copy of which you’ll find below, is the brainchild of three members of the state’s House of Representatives, Republicans W. T. Mayhall, Jr. and John Read, and Democrat Bobby Shows. The bill, which is likely dead on arrival, proposes that the state’s Department of Health establish weight criteria after consultation with Mississippi’s Council on Obesity. It does not detail what penalties an eatery would face if its grub was served to someone with an excessive body mass index.

Wow, Cameron, that is really amazing. Maybe they should just make the restaurant doors really skinny. The way I am growing since 40, I am gonna have to join a fat-advocacy group.
