Plenty of Hope

Posted by Joy Bischoff under: Presidential Election 2008 .

We want to welcome the supporters of Rudy Giuliani. We are very happy to have you here. We hope you will help prove the media wrong about their belief that you will give John McCain a boost. They underestimate your conservatism.

Hat-tip to Cavetrollhead for the following article:

Election 2008: California Republican Presidential Primary

California: McCain 32% Romney 28%

A Rasmussen Reports telephone survey conducted Tuesday night found John McCain leading Mitt Romney by four percentage points—32% for McCain, 28% for Romney. The survey was conducted in the hours immediately following Florida’s Presidential Primary. Since the survey was completed, Rudy Giuliani has dropped out of the Presidential race and endorsed McCain.

Sixty-five percent (65%) of Giuliani voters had a favorable opinion of Romney while 53% said the same about McCain. Sixty-eight percent (68%) of Giuliani’s voters believe McCain would be at least somewhat likely to win if nominated. Sixty-one percent (61%) are that confident about Romney’s electability.

Also, since the survey was completed, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signaled his intention to support McCain.

The survey found Giuliani attracting 14% of the vote in California while Mike Huckabee picked up 11%. Ron Paul earned 5% of the vote, 6% said they would vote for some other candidate, and 3% were not sure.

As of Tuesday night, the race was very fluid—just 57% of voters were “certain” they had settled on their final choice. Fifteen percent (15%) said there was a good chance they could change their mind.

Just wait until Romney holds rallys here in CA. The people are going to love him. Every time he goes to a state the numbers shoot way up. I don’t think Arnold will be a big boost but maybe that is just because I am informed. Don’t let McCain fool you CA, if Mitt doesn’t get in then the borders will be opened all the way and I can’t imagine the outcome of that. I don’t want to.

Is it safe to come out? Been hearing on the news all morning stuff about national security being so bad it sounds like were bout ready for another attack any minute. I do believe I had better get in line for McCain. I am so scared and only he can save me.

If only McCain can save us then all humanity is doomed!

I don’t know why its all over the news all of a sudden… Wait… maybe its because they want people to vote for McCain, because only he can save us, and they are trying to manipulate us. They want to make us scared enough to go into hiding.
Well I’m not scared and I’m not going into hiding.

Romney did quite well in the debates last night. If you want to see something very interesting and encouraging, look at the video of CNN dial testers. This is some thing they put on undecideds hand to gauge their enthusiasm through biofeedback.

There it is right out in the open. No longer pretending to hide it. I’ve been listening to Sean (while working hard). These libs are saying we need to expand our thought process or we are going to be rendered irrelevant. Traitor conservatives are calling and saying that in order to get something done we have to change. We need unity and if that mens getting inthe middle thats what we have to do. I started on this site in November and that is just what you were saying was going to happen. Sean said he wouldn’t compromise his values to get things done. Getting crazy out there. I’m glad I have this place to come to. It makes it less lonely.

I know, Matt. I’ve been listening too. It is a brilliant plan and it is working. Make the conservatives believe they are hopelessly shattered by putting the liberal McCain in there and have their lackeys the MSM support him since he has no money. Get the Republican Establishment on board since they don’t want Washington cleaned out either. Then tell the conservatives that if they don’t compromise their values we are all doomed. Is anyone out there listening? This isn’t algebra folks, its pretty simple math. I am so frustrated. Wake up America!!!

Keep up the good work Cavetrollhead. Great info. I thought he did great even though I wanted to throttle some one sitting by him.

McCain is very arrogant and his pridefulness shows. I hope that people become increasingly more repulsed with his attitude and demeanor.

What a coincidence that suddenly the war on terror is all over the news and at the same time the stock market is doing great so we don’t have to worry about the economy. People who don’t believe things can be manipulated to that point have not looked into things and are also apparently unaware of the degree of control that is being used to stop Romney. The powers that be will stop at nothing to protect the kind of Washington that they have in their pocket…period.
